Elegant Depression Cake Plate

This plate from the depression era is called "elegant glassware" because of the fine nature of the clear glass and the delicate etching on the underside. It was made by the New Martinsville Glass Co. (1936-39) on the Radiance Glass Pattern template with the Prelude Etching. It is in excellent condition and is 11.5" across. Although the colour is our photo is not clear, the glass is very clear crystal-like.
